Visit to AFC Wimbledon

Addington Valley students thoroughly enjoyed a stadium tour of AFC Wimbledon where they were welcomed by Managing Director, Danny Macklin. The visit was hosted by the club’s Disability Liaison Officer, Mandy Bynon to support fans with disabilities to feel safe and welcomed in social situations which can be tricky to manage. Some students said it was the first time they had ever been in a football stadium but would now love to return for a game.

The progress my son has made is phenomenal, we couldn’t be happier.

We feel very lucky that he is in this school.
