SEND and Local Offer

Addington Valley Academy is a provision for ASD students who have a range of severe and complex learning disabilities. We see the progress and well-being of our students as the responsibility of every member of staff within our school. Please find below key information regarding SEND at our school.

SEND Policy – the SEND Policy sets out the principle and aims of the school’s SEND arrangements

SEN Information Report – the SEN Information Report outlines the school’s provision for students with SEN. The report is based on: ‘regulation 51 and schedule 1 of the Special Educational Needs and Disability Regulations 2014.

Local Offer – Croydon’s Local Offer website provides information on local services and support available for families including children and young people aged 0-25 years with special educational needs or disabilities.

The progress my son has made is phenomenal, we couldn’t be happier.

We feel very lucky that he is in this school.
