Principal Appointed

We are please to announce the appointment of Mr John Reilly as Principal of Addington Valley Academy.

Mr Reilly joins us from The Link Secondary School in Sutton, part of the Orchard Hill College & Acaemy Trust which specialises in meeting the needs of students who have Speech, Language and Communication difficulties. Mr Reilly will bring a wealth of experience and expertise within the SEND education sector.

Mr Reilly said: ‘I am delighted to be the new Principal of Addington Valley Academy, a new Special Free School in Croydon for children and young people with autism and learning difficulties. We are currently in the pre-opening stage, but are really looking forward to welcoming a small group of Year 7s as our first cohort of pupils in September 2020.’

The progress my son has made is phenomenal, we couldn’t be happier.

We feel very lucky that he is in this school.
