Modelling with different materials

Students have been considering different types of materials in their art lessons and how they can bring them together to create 3D models.

Brendan and Dylan decided what they wanted to make and set about exploring the recycling and junk area to collect items to create their models. They then set about assembling all of the different components, this was followed by the rendering process – one chose plaster and the other paint – then for the final detailing and decoration.

As you can see from the photo the crane and factory were a triumph!

 

The progress my son has made is phenomenal, we couldn’t be happier.

We feel very lucky that he is in this school.

Sixth Form DIY Session
