Construction of our new school has commenced!

There has been an exciting development regarding the building of our new school in Field Way, New Addington.

The construction has commenced, and the first foundations have been laid at the rear of the site.

The construction company are using a pioneering mobile, hybrid ground penetrating UXO detecting unit that can identify buried objects up to 10 metres deep using magnetic waves – it is the first machine of its kind to be used in the UK.

Our new school is being specially purpose built, designed to meet the needs of 150 children and young people aged 2-19 who have autism and social communication, cognitive, sensory and social, emotional, and behavioural needs in the Croydon region.

The school is on track to open from September 2021.

The progress my son has made is phenomenal, we couldn’t be happier.

We feel very lucky that he is in this school.
